In Episode 2 of Ladylike Rejects, I sit down with someone whose story is woven deeply into my own, Tessa Dahlberg.

In this premiere episode, I sit down with someone who didn’t just enter my life she forever changed it. Artist Brandi LaPointe and I share our origin story: how she came into my world during my foster parenting journey, and how that connection ultimately led to her adopting my foster son, Kraven.

We talk about the real parts the emotional complexity, the faith it takes to release control, the strength required to step forward, and the beauty that can come from surrendering to what’s meant to be.
