Kyle Wellwood Interview

Former Maple Leaf Kyle Wellwood joined Nick Alberga & Jay Rosehill for a wide-ranging chat. Wellwood opened up about life after hockey, including living in Vancouver, his love for reading, and spending time in the kitchen. From there, the conversation shifted to his memories of playing in Toronto — what it was like skating alongside Mats Sundin, and what stands out to him most about Auston Matthews. Wellwood also compared playing under Pat Quinn versus Paul Maurice, and explained how the pressure and spotlight in Toronto differed from every other market he played in.
