It was a great time visiting with Kristopher Ott today. He is the chef, owner and operator of Chop Shop BBQ in Caldwell, Idaho. Kris is originally from California and has spent time traveling around the world visiting all kinds of kitchens trying different foods to help fine tune his craft. And boy has he! Kris has mastered the smoked-house themed restaurant as a five star place to eat. Kris is not only a chef, he's an innovator and business savvy restauranteur.
Chop Shop BBQ is located in the beautiful downtown Indian Creek Plaza. The restaurants focus is on sourcing ingredients from local, sustainable farming. Primarily take-out based with limited dine-in and patio seating, Chop Shop BBQ is a green and eco-friendly concept basing take-out products from bio-degradable and compostable elements to help eliminate waste.
