In this episode, we speak with Zaida Basora, Executive Director of AIA Dallas. We had an amazing conversation about being creative and resourceful while you find your way in the AEC industry. Zaida gives excellent information on being open-minded, demanding change, and supporting others.  Our discussion leads us to talk about toxic workplaces, how to recognize you’re in one, how to change it, or when it is finally time to walk away. Zaida also recommends finding support and mentors within the industry and your community.
