Tinder announced that they were expanding their protections for trans users in 2019, but it’s difficult to find any specific evidence of this. While they have introduced a feature that notifies LGBTQ+ people if they are entering a country where the LGBTQ+ community may be penalized, this does little to help queer people in their everyday lives attempting to use the app.
