• KS 416 - Faith on Deck: When Divine Programming Meets Life's Pressure Moments

Ever wondered why some Christians seem to rise above every challenge while others struggle to move forward? The difference might be simpler than you think.

Drawing from an unexpected source—a college baseball pitcher in the World Series spotlight—this episode reveals the hidden power of intentional self-talk that can transform your Christian walk. Just as that young athlete programmed himself for victory before he ever stepped onto the championship mound, we too must program our minds with God's promises before facing life's challenges.

Most believers fall into the trap of "Sunday Christianity," never taking the time to truly internalize Scripture. But what if five minutes of daily declaration could completely rewire your thought patterns? I share practical examples from Charles Capps' transformative book "God's Creative Power" that show exactly how to personalize Scripture and speak it over your life. These aren't just positive affirmations—they're powerful spiritual tools based on God's unchanging Word.

Your mind is like a garden requiring daily attention—watering, pruning, and protecting from weeds of doubt and fear. When negative thoughts inevitably arise (as they recently did for me after returning from vacation), I demonstrate the exact process I use to take those thoughts captive and replace them with truth. This isn't theory—it's battle-tested wisdom from decades of marketplace ministry.

Ready to experience breakthrough in your business, finances, and personal life? Start programming yourself for kingdom success today. And if this message resonates with you, share it with someone who needs to hear it. The transformation awaiting you is just a few declarations away.

  • KS 415 - The 90-Day Bible Challenge
    Jul 8 2025

    Send us a text

A chance YouTube video about a 96-year-old pastor who had read the Bible over 1,200 times sparked my curiosity and challenge: could I read the entire Bible in just 90 days? Not only did I complete this challenge once, but I've just finished my second consecutive 90-day reading plan—essentially consuming the entire Scripture twice in six months.

This accelerated approach to Bible reading revealed something profound that my previous annual reading plans never could. Rather than examining small portions of Scripture in isolation, reading large chunks daily allowed me to step back and see God's grand narrative unfold like viewing an entire painting instead of focusing on a two-inch corner. The chronological arrangement provided crucial context, especially when moving between historical books and prophetic writings. Witnessing Paul's missionary journeys in Acts alongside his epistles brought new depth to familiar passages.

My method combined visual reading with audio input—following along in my physical Bible while listening through earbuds—which required 30-45 minutes of daily commitment. The dual-input approach helped maintain focus and improved retention. Throughout this experience, God's persistent faithfulness became unmistakably clear, even through the sometimes-depressing sections of judgment found in the prophetic books.

Despite the tremendous benefits, I'm now feeling led to slow down again. The rapid pace left little time for meditation, journaling, and allowing specific passages to deeply penetrate my heart. There's a balance to be found between seeing Scripture's grand narrative and camping out in individual chapters where the Holy Spirit can speak personally.

Have you ever read through the entire Bible? Whether you choose a 90-day sprint or a more measured pace, I challenge you to experience the fullness of God's Word in 2024. If this approach intrigues you, consider joining me in the YouVersion Bible app where chronological reading plans make this journey accessible to everyone. Let me know how your Bible reading journey is going—I'd love to hear what God is showing you through His Word!

  • KS 411 - The Go-Giver Mindset: Transforming Your Business Through Giving

What does it truly mean to succeed as a Christian in the marketplace? Tyler McHart dives deep into this question, drawing from his 12-year journey as an entrepreneur and his transformative encounter with "The Go-Giver" philosophy.

The pivotal moment came when Tyler was about 30 years old, working in corporate sales and desperately seeking a different approach to business. A simple yet profound quote from minister Mike Murdoch changed everything: "What you make happen for another, God will make happen for you." This single idea perfectly aligned with what Tyler discovered in the book "The Go-Giver" - that by focusing on creating value for others rather than yourself, success naturally follows.

Tyler makes a compelling case that everyone engages in selling, regardless of their formal role. Whether you're a parent encouraging your child to eat vegetables or a minister sharing the gospel, you're selling ideas and choices. He shares the fascinating etymology of the word "sell," which comes from the Old English "sellan" meaning "to give" - a revelation that transforms how we understand sales entirely. The true definition of selling, Tyler explains, is "learning what people do want to do and helping them do that."

  • KS 410 - Mastering Your Time: The Three-Day Method
    Jun 3 2025

Stop apologizing and start winning with a revolutionary approach to entrepreneurial time management. Have you ever felt like you never truly "shut off" from your business? This exact challenge led me to discover a life-changing system that's already transforming my productivity, clarity, and peace of mind.

Drawing from Dan Sullivan's entrepreneurial coaching wisdom, I share how structuring your week around just three types of days creates magical boundaries in your life. Focus Days become your revenue-generating powerhouses—time dedicated exclusively to activities that directly impact your bottom line. Buffer Days provide crucial space for organizing, planning, and administrative tasks that prepare you for success. Perhaps most revolutionary are Free Days—complete disconnection from work to rejuvenate through family time, personal interests, and true rest.

After completing an intense track coaching season, I felt like "a big rock had been removed from my aquarium." This newfound space allowed me to reassess how I was structuring my time as both an entrepreneur and Kingdom-minded business leader. The typical entrepreneur's tendency to work late into the night after family goes to bed or constantly think about business even during supposed downtime doesn't have to be your reality.

Ready to bring intentional structure to your entrepreneurial journey? This simple yet profound system might be exactly what you need to thrive both professionally and personally. Give it a try and let me know how it transforms your approach to business and life!

  • KS 409 - Slow Down to Speed Up
    May 14 2025

Have you ever noticed that Jesus—despite carrying the most critical mission in history—was never in a hurry? This profound observation has been challenging me for years as the Holy Spirit consistently whispers: "Tyler, slow down."

In our hyper-connected world where information bombards us at unprecedented rates, we've normalized a pace of life that runs contrary to how Jesus operated. After reading "The Relentless Elimination of Hurry" by Mark Comer, I've been confronting this tension between modern expectations and divine example. What if, instead of simply trying to imitate Jesus' character, we actually adopted His lifestyle—including His deliberate, unhurried pace?

This episode explores a powerful principle I've been meditating on, borrowed from Navy SEAL tactical training: "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast." These elite warriors understand that deliberate, controlled movements under pressure lead to superior outcomes compared to rushed, panicked actions. When applied to our lives as Christian entrepreneurs and marketplace believers, this wisdom transforms our effectiveness. Moving methodically, thinking clearly, and proceeding with intention creates the space for true excellence and divine guidance.

Consider where hurry might be sabotaging your success and limiting your kingdom impact. Are your rushed decisions truly producing the results you desire? What might change if you approached your work, relationships, and spiritual practices with the controlled precision of a SEAL on mission rather than the frantic pace our culture celebrates? The answer might surprise you—and accelerate your true success in ways hurry never could.
