This is a revision of episode 1

This episode explores the essence of Jesus Christ's message, focusing on the gospel of the kingdom of God, its historical origins, unique qualities compared to traditional religions, and underscores its transformative impact, universal relevance, and the necessity of spiritual insight to grasp its profound mysteries.

Matthew 4:17, 23-25 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them. And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judæa, and from beyond Jordan.

  • Do Devils Know You?
    May 1 2024

This podcast episode delves into exploring spiritual discernment and the impact of evil spirits. It highlights biblical instances, like the seven sons of Sceva and encounters with evil spirits, to show how they distinguish those truly connected to God. It stresses the significance of genuine faith, discernment, and a sincere relationship with God over mere religious rituals or invoking Jesus' name without spiritual depth.

Acts 19:11-20 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds. Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

  • Spiritual, Carnal, Babes
    Mar 17 2024

In this episode of the podcast, Chakari discusses the three types of believers: spiritual, carnal, and babes in Christ. He emphasizes the importance of being spiritually minded and walking after the things of the Spirit, while warning against the dangers of being carnally minded and seeking the praise of men. Chakari urges listeners to have a genuine personal relationship with Christ and to rely on faith in Him alone for salvation.

1 Corinthians 3:1-7 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

  • An Altar in Egypt: The Impact of the Negro to the Church
    Feb 18 2024

    Send us a Text Message.

The 50th episode of the King Priest Ethos podcast explores the historical and spiritual significance of the Great Pyramid of Giza, the contributions of Africans to the church, and the biblical connections to Egypt.

Isaiah 19:19-25 In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD. And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them. And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it. And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them. In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

Fun fact: Moses did not transgress by marrying Zipporah, identified as the Ethiopian woman in Numbers 12, nor did he violate any of his own laws by marrying a foreign woman. The prohibition against interracial marriages in the Old Testament stemmed from spiritual concerns. In Malachi 2:11, God, speaking through the prophet Malachi, rebuked the people of Judah for their unfaithfulness, as they had entered into alliances with individuals from nations that worshipped foreign gods. This intermingling defiled their holiness and betrayed their covenant with God. The metaphor of darkness unable to commune with light and the impossibility of sharing in both the cup of the Lord and the table of demons underscores this spiritual principle. However, it's worth noting that Moses's wife and father-in-law were devout believers who did not worship foreign deities, unlike many Israelites of their time. Ethiopians were acquainted with the one true God and did not subscribe to idolatry.
