Killer Queens is a personality-driven true crime show hosted by two millennial besties who bring their research, realness, and 90s nostalgia to every case. Heartfelt, hilarious, and highly researched — it’s true crime you can trust, with hosts you’d trust to watch your kids… or keep your secrets. Whether we’re decoding cold cases or dragging sketchy investigations, we bring empathy, chaos, and a few too many Friends references. We unpack true crime with heart, jokes, legal context, and just the right amount of rage - one case (and one hot take) at a time. • The Kidnapping of Jaycee Dugard: 18 Years Hidden in Plain Sight
    Nov 25 2025
In 1991, 11-year-old Jaycee Lee Dugard was abducted on her way to the school bus in South Lake Tahoe, California. What followed was one of the most shocking and heartbreaking cases in modern true crime—eighteen years of captivity in a hidden backyard compound, two daughters born in secret, and repeated missed opportunities by law enforcement and parole officials who visited the home over fifty times. In this episode, we break down Jaycee’s story as told in A Stolen Life and the A&E documentary The Abduction of Jaycee Dugard, exploring how she survived, how she stayed hidden in plain sight for nearly two decades, and how a chance encounter at UC Berkeley finally revealed the truth. • Taylor Swift vs DJ David Mueller Groping Trial
    Nov 18 2025
In 2015, a former Denver radio DJ filed a civil suit against our queen, Taylor Swift, claiming that she’d ruined his career. Taylor immediately countersued the DJ, alleging that not only had he ruined his OWN career, he’d done it by groping her underneath her skirt at a meet and greet in 2013. A trial followed in 2017, with Taylor testifying on the stand about what had happened, reliving that memory and all of the feelings of embarrassment, horror, disgust, confusion, and fear in front of a courtroom. In doing so, Taylor was able to shine a light on the fact that sexual assault can happen to anyone, and that coming forward and telling your story can help others do the same. • The Cardi B Trial Was ICONIC- Part 2
    Nov 11 2025
Part 2 of 2 When the plaintiff’s expert is a plastic surgeon who couldn’t rule out a dwarf with razor-sharp toenails for the scratches, this trial felt less like Law & Order and more like Real Housewives: Beverly Hills Courthouse Edition. From the OB-GYN and receptionist who witnessed the fight to the psychologist who said the plaintiff’s test answers were “two in a billion,” the defense delivers receipts – while plaintiff’s counsel Ron Rosen Janfazza completely unravels. Tyrella and Nikita break down the defense’s strategy, the jaw-dropping cross-examinations, the lightning-fast verdict, and the post-trial fallout – including Janfazza’s sanctions, his 2023 mistrial meltdown, and the now-infamous “vaginal discharge” argument NO ONE asked for. Ok so I admit, I have a bit of Podcast A.D.D. I binge for a bit and then almost never go back to it again. Killer Queens is one of the few exceptions to that. I have been listening for over a year now and I’m pretty sure I have listened to every episode including Patreon episodes at least twice.

Anywho, Tori and Tyrella achieve exactly what they set out to do, discuss true crime in a way that feels like a casual conversation with a few friends. I personally am not a fan of shows that are overly scripted, down to the last little gasp of horror.

Despite the witty banter and southern sass these ladies bring, the content is informative and the victims are ALWAYS discussed in a respectful manner.

While this podcast is probably not for everyone, if you like true crime, anything from the 90’s, or listening to people try (and fail) pronouncing names, give this a try, you won’t be disappointed! 💕

LYLAS!

Hands down my favorite!

I love love love these sisters. no filter and are hilarious, if you don't enjoy them- you're an uncultured swine with zero sense of humor and you need to lay off the pipe, respectfully (:

I adore this podcast and these girls! They are able to walk that fine line of respectfully telling the stories of crime victims while also being entertaining. The flow is more conversational which I enjoy; the vibe is that of hanging out with your friends discussing true crime. They are real, relatable, and funny as hell. 10/10 for sure!!

An absolute gem!!!!

The hostess are definitely young and playful, which is not a bad thing just not my cup of tea. It took some time to get to the point of the story and they seemed to get off track a lot.

I was recommended this podcast in a fan group for Morbid. One thing I love about Morbid and another female duo true crime podcast, Crime Junkie is that they have a healthy skepticism of police investigations. I couldn’t get through one episode of this podcast without feeling like to these girls, the police can do no wrong. It’s nothing personal, I’m sure they’ve gotten better, but acting as if police have the hardest job in solving these crimes is irritating. They’re paid 6X more than most teachers and deal with half the bullshit. Sometimes they screw up. I think skepticism of police goes hand in hand with being a true crime junkie. They don’t always do their best work. Maybe I’ll give a listen to more recent episodes to update this review in the future.

Meh…
