The episode touches on everything from 90s boy bands (with some nostalgic NSYNC vs Backstreet Boys debate) to the importance of taking criticism gracefully when doing social justice work. They also dive into Kid Rock's recent inflammatory comments about declining birth rates in the US, where he blamed "ugly" and "deranged" liberal women before unpacking the deeper issues behind such statements, exploring how they reflect broader problems with toxic masculinity, emotional regulation, and the refusal to examine systemic causes for societal changes.

I had a VERY brief marriage (40 days) because within a few days of getting married I realized he was an alcoholic. He lied & worked very hard to hide that during our brief dating period. We got married quickly, at his insistence, & he hoped I'd stay in the marriage because we were older. I was 40 at the time. I offered to help him seek treatment & he refused. At the same time there were definite overtones of future domestic violence. So after he refused his final opportunity to get help, I put him out. Because yeah, I owned my own home (he did not) as well as 2 vehicles. He really thought that the minute we were married I would sign everything over to him & work to support him. Nope. Today, I'm a happy single woman who owns her own own & near early retirement at 55 in 18 months. A relationship would be a nice addition but it is not a necessity. He is now twice divorced, living in a camper in his parent's side yard & definitely part of the loneliness epidemic.

I'm sick of crappy men & I love this episode & you two for calling this behavior out!
