In this episode Dr Jak speaks to Podcaster, Actress and Director Kelechi Okafor. Kelechi’s chosen historical figure is South African Sarah Baartman. Sarah was seen as the epitome of colonial exploitation and racism, of the ridicule and commodification of black people and especially the black woman. Sarah Baartman’s journey is a story that must be told.
