John Wayne Bobbitt  and Lorena Bobbitt were an American couple married on June 18, 1989, their relationship received international press coverage in 1993 when Lorena cut off John's penis with a knife while he was asleep in bed. At the time marital rape was not recognized so Lorena had a fight on her hands. This woman went through one of the worst traumatic experiences and took her power back away from the monster she married. The question remains, who is the victim here? Lorena for the abuse she suffered and her desperate attempt to remove her pain, or John who lost the weapon he used against his wife repeatedly?
