What is up my crime crazy people! This is your temp host Courtney, a producer on the true crime podcast veil of humanity. Kajibana’s or red spider lilies are associated with death and final goodbyes in Japanese culture. Because red spider lilies are associated with death, it is believed that one should never give a bouquet of these flowers. Some legends have it that if you see someone whom you may never meet again, these flowers will bloom along the paths you take. Kajibana focuses on the most heinous of crimes, crimes against children. Children are our most precious beings and something to be protected at all costs. They are our future, our hopes and when one is murdered it affects us all. Today we are diving into a case about a young girl born the same year as I was but unfortunately her life was cut short far too soon and by someone whom she should have been able to trust.
