Summary:

The Storm by Rachel Hawkins is a thriller novel about a cold case murder that resurfaces when a true-crime writer and the accused woman return to a small Alabama town, forcing the innkeeper to confront the past as a new hurricane approaches. The story uses a dual-timeline narrative, alternating between the present and the 1984 murder of a political scion during a hurricane, and explores secrets, small-town gossip, and the destructive nature of both storms and people.

About The Book:
