    For Houston, that meant a stunning exit at the hands of Kansas City. A record-breaking crowd witnessed a dominant Dash fail to take its chances and leave on the wrong side of a 2-1 scoreline.

    Checking in on Southern California, the result was flipped. The Wave won its inaugural playoff match in extra-time with the help of some veteran players coming up clutch.
