The practice of foraging has seen a huge spike in interest over the past few years as the pandemic has encouraged more people to get outside and explore Nature. This practice however is not some new trend but rather is a practice we have forgotten in the modern age of convenience and going to a supermarket to feed ourselves instead of hunting and gathering our own food as our ancestors would have done before the days of farming. Tansy recently attended a 1-day foraging course held by Rich Prideaux and loved his passion and reverence for Nature and the significance and importance of this practice as a way of returning to Nature and remembering who we are. https://originaloutdoors.co.uk/ @richprideaux @originaloutdoor

How do you connect to the present moment? Studies have shown that we can spend up to 50% of our time either thinking ahead to the future or replaying the past in our mind. This means we are potentially not present for half our lives and could mean precious moments happening in the here and now and missed because the mind is in control. In this episode, Tansy explores using Nature as a powerful tool for connecting to the present moment and reminds us that this one act is the gateway to embracing so much more of your life.
