Journey With Me Through ADHD: A Podcast for Kids is designed for children with ADHD to listen to and feel understood. It will educate, empower, and encourage listeners to understand their uniquely wired, neurodivergent minds. The challenges will be discussed, mindset growth will be encouraged, and strengths/gifts will be celebrated! ADHD will grow from an excuse to a reason that we need to face challenges head on and become an advocate for the incredible strengths that we have!

  • Firework Finale of ADHD Thoughts
    Aug 27 2021

Do you ever feel like you have a finale of fireworks going off in your mind?! I sure do!

Living with an ADHD brain can often feel like a constant firework show! There is beauty in the creativity, imagination, brilliant ideas, and strengths that are unique to you! On the other hand, our mind can take us in a direction that leads us to getting burned by the run away fireworks!

Join me in this episode while we use this fun visual analogy to bring to life what it feels like inside you ADHD brain. We will talk about how these thoughts trigger behaviors, how to gain control of the firework display of thoughts, and how to refocus on the beauty while fanning the flames!

We will use the acronym FIREWORK to learn some helpful tools and strategies to try out too! Remember, we are all unique and you need to find what works best for you!
