Early 2025 I forgot I am a creator, but by the end of the year I had found that joy again and tapped back into the gift of creating.

As we move into the new year I want to remind you of that gift, and the power you have within you right now to pursue the life you want to live this year and every day moving forward.

Moving into the new year I am committed to being intentional with my marketing efforts when it comes to my products and services. This means I need to look at what I have been doing (not much in recent years), what I haven't been doing (being consistent), what I need to continue, and what I need to stop.

I sat down and did an audit of my marketing over the past 2 years and came to the conclusion of what I need to focus on moving forward into 2026. I formulated a plan of action to follow, and in doing so I found 3 main marketing tips I want to share with you for your own marketing efforts.

The weekend following Mr Olympia I went to Los Angeles California to take part in Los Angeles Fashion Week produced by Art Hearts Fashion.

This would be my 5th time volunteering backstage with Art Hearts Fashion and it was one of the best shows I have been part of, including 2 I attended as part of the audience.

Walking in backstage was like a mini family reunion; seeing all of the staff, photographers, models, and other volunteers I had seen or met with at previous shows. This was a chance to reconnect the sort of family that only forms at events.

3 days of helping designers left and right, I was moving chairs, I was carrying cases of water, I was herding models, organizing clothing and accessories ....I was in my element.

Coming out of 2024 The Year of Events I had to decide what I wanted the theme of 2025 to be.

After much thought, prayer, and introspective it became clear something big would be on the horizon for my life. Putting that into action, and backing it up with belief the entire way, I decided the theme for 2025 would be The Year of New Opportunities.

I knew I would be looking for new opportunities everywhere I went, that I would be open to moving far beyond my comfort zone, that I would be leveling up in multiple areas of my life. I knew I be experiencing new opportunities throughout the entire year, and boy was I right.

Before Las Vegas was even on my radar. Before the day job offer came through. Before my dogs health issues started I had a deep since 2025 would bring many changes to my life, and I thought I was ready it.

2024 was the first year I themed for my life; I called it The Year Of Events.

After years of FOMO I decided I would take action, and committed to attend the events in 2024. Despite whatever would come up, I would not let myself talk myself out of attending something I knew I wanted to be at.

I put together a plan, started using Notion to track the events, and got out from behind a keyboard to go connect in person.

One of the best moves I have made in recent years.

It's Mr Olympia week!!

The air itself here in Las Vegas is electric, and social media is buzzing with people arriving ahead of the weekend.
