  • This week we start to look at the conversation between Jesus and the samaritan Woman. This week we look at the first 4 areas of conversation that Jesus brings up. She tried to deflect right through but Jesus persists. Religious rules say that Jesus should never speak to a Samaritan and never a Woman in public. Jesus defied that as he wants to help mend a broken woman who has been married 5 times and the person she is living with now is not married to her.

    Statement 1/ He asked for water from her. She tried to dismiss Jesus by sayinng that Jesus should not speak to her. 2/ Jesus makes a 2 statements regarding himself and that He can give living water. She is skeptical 3/ He offers living water. She is flippant and mocking. 4/ He speaks about her past like an open book and she gives a half truth to try and Fob Jesus off. But Jesus cares too much. He wants to see her free from her guilt and failures.
