  • Baby Step 7 From First Step to Financial Freedom
    Apr 15 2026

In this episode, we break down the entire financial journey from saving your very first $1,000 all the way to living and giving like no one else. Whether you're just getting started or you're already debt-free and looking for what's next, this is the roadmap.

We walk through the Baby Steps framework, starting with the starter emergency fund and why it's more about a heart change than a dollar amount. From there, we cover the fully funded emergency fund, the power of sinking funds over retail financing traps, and the incredible math behind compound interest using the classic story of Ben and Arthur.

We also tackle the credit card trap, why a zero-based budget is non-negotiable, and how to break free from the cycle of borrowing that the financial industry has normalized.

Then we get to the good stuff: Baby Step 7. What does life look like when you owe nothing to anyone and your house is paid off? We break it down into three priorities — giving generously (starting with the tithe and extending to the needy poor), continuing to build wealth through tax-advantaged accounts and cash-only real estate, and finally enjoying the fruit of your discipline without guilt.

We also dig into the biblical perspective on wealth, why money is amoral, how to protect what you've built with the right insurance and estate planning, and how to raise kids who understand the value of hard work through the commission system.

This one is packed. Grab a pen.

  • Sermon On The Mount: Upside Down Kingdom
    Apr 12 2026

In this opening message of our Sermon on the Mount series, we explore Jesus’ powerful introduction to what can only be described as an “Upside Down Kingdom.”

In Matthew 5:1–12, Jesus presents a way of life that completely overturns the values of this world. Instead of power, success, and self-sufficiency, He calls us to humility, dependence, mercy, and a deep hunger for righteousness.

What does it really mean to be “blessed”?

Why does Jesus say the poor in spirit inherit the kingdom?

And how can mourning, meekness, and even persecution be signs of God’s favor?

This message unpacks the structure and progression of the Beatitudes, showing how they move us from recognizing our need for Christ to reflecting His character in the world. At the center is a call to hunger and thirst for righteousness—a relentless pursuit of Jesus above all else.

If you’ve ever felt like God’s way runs contrary to everything around you, this sermon will help you see why—and how that “upside down” life is actually the path to true blessing.

  • Baby Step 6 A Biblical Roadmap to Mortgage Freedom
    Apr 8 2026

This episode explores a biblical and practical path to paying off your home and achieving true financial freedom. Drawing from Scripture and insights from Ellen G. White, we highlight how homeownership builds dignity, stability, and character.

We break down the essential steps—eliminating debt, building an emergency fund, investing wisely—and show how consistent extra payments, intentional budgeting, and contentment (First Epistle to Timothy 6:6) can dramatically accelerate your journey.

We also expose common financial myths that keep families in debt and paint a clear picture of life after the mortgage—marked by peace, generosity, and freedom to serve God and others.
