Jean: a simple name, complex in nature.

Many of us walk into parenthood with our "stuff". It shades and colors our lens when seeing our child’s diagnosis.

Jean wanted an exceptional child and the universe delivered an extraordinary, beautiful, autistic son.

Gone were the days of the fast-paced, creative life in hospitality. She carried her intensity and advocacy into a new life; one focused on slowing down and experiencing a deeper, richer side to humanity. Her story is about transformation through loss, on repeat.
