Jealousy

Jealousy is quiet. It doesn’t always storm in with shouting. Instead, it slips in while we’re distracted, whispering that someone else has what we deserve. It creeps into our thoughts, twisting gratitude and slowly clouding our trust in God.

Jealousy often disguises itself as ambition or desire, but its fruit is anything but sweet. It robs peace, steals joy, and quietly erodes contentment. Scripture warns us about this subtle, destructive emotion, reminding us that envy begins in the heart and can poison our relationships, our efforts, and our spiritual walk.
