Dak Prescott accounted for 5 TDs, as the Dallas Cowboys routed the New York Giants again 49-17 for their 12th straight home win. The Cowboys (6-3) won 40-0 in the opener in New Jersey, and the 72-point margin was their largest in a sweep of an NFC East opponent, topping their 66-point edge against Philadelphia in 1969.
The Giants (2-8) were outgained 368-27 in the first half with Tommy DeVito as the first undrafted rookie to start for them at quarterback in the common draft era, save for a strike-replacement game in 1987.

The New York Giants fell to the New York Jets, 13-10 in overtime game on Sunday. Greg Zuerlein of the Jets kicked a 33-yard field goal in overtime for the winning points. The Giants fell to 2-6, while the Jets improved to 4-3.

The Giants’ offensive line might have gotten healthier, but the offense as a whole suffered a pair of big losses in the second quarter when Tyrod Taylor and Darren Waller left the game with injuries.

Tyrod was taken to the hospital with a rib injury after taking a hard hit on a broken play. Undrafted rookie QB Tommy DeVito replaced him,

Giants’ running back Saquon Barkley shouldered the load on offense, carrying the ball 36 times for 128 yards, as the Giants didn’t complete a pass in the second half.

Taylor, starting for the second straight week with Daniel Jones sidelined with a neck injury, hit Darren Waller on a 15-yard score and added a 32-yard pass play to Saquon Barkley as New York (2-5) scored its first two offensive first-half touchdowns of the season. He finished 18 of 29 for 279 yards.

The Giants will try to snap a four-game losing streak when they face the 3-3 Commanders at MetLife.

While the Giants lost to the Bills 14-9, the Commanders lost 37-3 to the same team just three weeks earlier.

New York and Washington are similar in terms of turnovers and yards allowed, meaning it will likely be another close match up between the division rivals. The Giants have given Washington problems the last four seasons, and last year's games ended in a tie and just an eight-point victory.

FANTASY TIP: While Terry McLaurin has been a pain against the Giants, Commanders wide receiver Jahan Dotson had nine catches for 159 yards and two touchdowns combined in the games last season. He also got only one target last week so expect Howell to make up Sunday.

The Giants’ Jason Pinnock returned one of the interceptions 102 yards for New York’s only touchdown. It was the Giants’ first touchdown in the first half of a game this season. The 102-yard interception return tied for the longest in Giants history.
Giants quarterback Daniel Jones left in the fourth with a neck injury after a sack by linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel. Tyrod Taylor replaced Jones with 12:11 left and led the Giants on a scoring drive capped by a 51-yard field goal by Graham Gano.
The Giants (1-4) forced a turnover for the first time this season when safety Xavier McKinney forced a fumble of Achane in the second quarter, which edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux recovered.

The Giants moved the ball at times — they had 268 yards — and forced three turnovers but only had nine offensive points to show for it.
