In this episode Jav continues to suggest teen targeted comics and Charles continues to like them. They both like both the comics and have a quick and very non tagenty conversation about them.

The two Stars – Wars and Trek – together for the first time. Charles and Jav’s, all time favs together at last. One a comic based on the original draft of The Star Wars and the other a cartoon turned comic Star Trek Lower Decks both great in their own way but what’s best is finally the settling of the great nerd war.

Welcome back to the all-new season of JCTC. After a shortened 4th season – find out why in the episode – our heroes have returned with two all new – to them – comics. Charles suggested a Shazam comic which he insisted on calling Captain Marvel and Jav suggested Squirrel Girl which Charles took credit for suggesting to Jav in the past. So basically, Charles is still sometimes a dick.

In which the Force is strong in our heroes, and Charles clearly holds a grudge against Tony Stark. Jav picked Secret Invasion to read and both he and Charles loved the arc and Charles was happy Jav didn’t ask him to read every comic in that event (but Charles probably already has). Charles attempted to out nerd Jav by suggesting the beginning of the first Darth Vader comic run, where he must earn his red lightsaber.

Two comics enter and two comics were discussed as usual. We don’t have the ability to dispose of a comic and Jav would never want to and Charles would at least feel guilty. Both comics were enjoyed by both hosts and much merriment was had along the way.

Buckle up buckaroos it’s long one. Our heroes finally talk about The Dark Night Returns and talk they do. Surprisingly enough they liked it. Then they talk about a Superman arc Panic in the Sky which was a lot of fun to read and discuss.
