Jason Bellini, Scripps News War Correspondent

Today's guest is an international correspondent specializing in conflict reporting in hostile environments. He is currently reporting on the war between Hamas and Israel in the Gaza Strip, but when we recorded this session, he was getting ready for his 7th tour of duty covering the war in Ukraine. Jason Bellini works for Scripps News and is an alum of other news organizations such as CNN, Bloomberg TV, and The Wall Street Journal.

This podcast focuses on network news crews working in the field. It is co-produced by Larry Warner, a staff camera operator and editor for CBS News, and Bryan Baeta, a production sound mixer. Both Warner and Baeta hail from the San Francisco Bay Area and are involved in the network news business.
