Immediately after the death of Jaraasandh, the three rushed to the cave where various kings had been kept as prisoners and liberated all the kings. When they returned to the capital city, they were welcomed by the Brahmins and citizens of Magadh. Jaraasandh’s son, Sehdev, most humbly sought their permission to perform the last rites of his father. Once the last rites of Jaraasandh had been duly carried out, Krishn crowned Sehdev as the king of Magadh. They returned to Indraprasth with all the liberated kings.
