In this episode, Jan Milton gives us an update on the Operation Renewed Hope disaster relief efforts in Jamaica after the devastation of Hurricane Melissa.
Click here to read the update and see videos from Pastor Cummings and Pastor Winston Nathan on the scene in Jamaica. https://myemail.constantcontact.com/Melissa---Sea-Hope-delivers-food-for-hardest-hit-area-.html?soid=1134023763267&aid=505Pdz1FZpc
The circumstances in Jamaica are very difficult for the churches and people. Melissa created a path of destruction from which the average Jamaican might need years to recover.
One of ORH's best partners is Captain Buddy Puryear. He and his ministry Sea Hope has been faithful to be ready for every challenge. He and his volunteer crews deliver needed supplies during disaster and non-disaster situations
Although many were attempting to deliver relief to the Jamaican people, Captain Puryear was doing so. From Puerto Rico, the Sea Hope sailed with 40,000+ pounds of cargo. Twelve thousand pounds of this cargo was for ORH to be delivered to Pastor Stan Cummings of Bayshore Baptist Church just outside of Kingston.
