Jack Wilson and Con Matthews // Dr. William Hamilton

Jack Wilson and Con Matthews were brakemen working on the night of August 21st, 1899. Somewhere along their route, the two men were attacked. Three men had been seen shortly before the attack but slipped away before the men's bodies were even found.

Dr. William Hamilton had a medical practice in Marysville, Iowa. He was shot one morning while on his way to work. A trial was held against a local man, who had suspected the doctor was having an affair with his wife.
