Jesus' response to religion and criticism is a true example of His love for us. The parable of the Lost Sheep is a story told by Jesus, showing us how much love God has for every single person. Jesus tells this parable in response to the religious leaders who had their hearts filled with wrong intentions and prejudice. Just like how the Shepherd left his flock of 99 to save the one lost sheep is the same way Jesus doesn't ever give up on us. God cares about every single person equally.
