Today @drlesko co-founder and executive director of @brasforgirlsorg joined me on the #podcast to discuss how every girl deserves access to sports.

Sports bra isn’t just gear. “You matter, your body matters and your journey matters.”

“Bras for girls supports girls and their relationship with movement for life.”

Girls + sports = a beautiful world.

#brasforgirls reached over 88k girls in 2025 and over 200k since its inception in 2017. Over 220k bras have been donated since 2017 too.

They have partnered with 1250 organizations, 50 states and 15 countries.

On March 11 the collaborated with the @thepwhlofficial @pwhl_torrent for the first ever #bratoss for girls. Over 1300 bras were collected.

It highlighted the reality that many girls are forced to walk away from sports because they lack the gear they need to succeed.

On today’s #podcast @ivangluck18 a #holocaust survivor 87 years young has a simple credo: love each other, always assist others to reach their goals and the good guys will win.

When the Nazis came to Hungary they didn’t care if Jewish people were reformed, conservative or orthodox.

He has been a @nyrangers fan since immigrating to NYC and learned the game of #hockey which led to a tryout invitation from the @detroitredwings but instead chose faith and family over a potential @nhl career.

Hockey taught him life lessons: a game of inches, teamwork, camaraderie and unity whether winning or losing. When you get knocked down you get back up.

He practiced with the Jerusalem Capitals before the @theofficialiehl last year & @waynegretzky sent a message to the team and Mr. Gluck.

At 67 he tried out for the Israeli baseball league. Ran the 100 yard dash and finished 7th out of 85. Was solid with the bat and glove too.

He has spoken to students in Florida where he resides about the Holocaust and told me a great story where it led to a connection with the @flapanthers GM Bill Zito.

His passion for life is infectious.

We have both dealt with antisemitism and one time used his brains to show some bullies that polio was invented by a Jewish doctor, Dr. Jonas Salk. The fight was averted.

Dan Fournier the obscure sports league fanatic came on today to talk about the the original #usfl league 1983-85.

Dan had a great story from the @jeff_pearlman book “Football for a buck” where owner John F. Bassett wrote a letter to NJ Generals owner @realdonaldtrump not happy with his handling of the league going from the spring to fall which led to their demise.

Dan has made over 250 USFL helmets & his USA team helmets that played in the @cfl are in their HOF.

Dan explained how the CFL is unique from the @nfl with three downs, how the teams are lined up each down but not happy with them getting rid of the rouge.

Want to meet @atlanticschooners fans. Should be the 10th team in the CFL.

#worldhockeyassociation Dan had a great Gerry Cheevers story where he brought his Cleveland Crusaders jersey to get signed.

#worldfootballleague lasted a season and a half too.

He hasn’t been to see the @nyrangers @thegarden need to change that.

Dan also worked at @westdalecinema & @tiff_net with great stories about the late #robertduvall & clinteastwood plus Sports Trivia.
