It’s the ADHD-Friendly Show, where we celebrate smart, creative women with ADHD. We focus on the positive aspects of our neurodiversity and share tips, hacks and life advice on playing to your own unique strengths at work and life. There’s no denying that living with ADHD can be challenging (especially around menopause, holy smokes), but focusing on the good is the best way to create energy, focus and follow through, so that’s what we do here. • Forgot your 2025 goals? Me too. 🫣 Let's reset.
    Jun 20 2025

    RESOURCES MENTIONED:

    • The ADHD Biz Hub : https://www.skool.com/adhd-biz
    • Vision to Action ADHD Planner: https://swiy.co/Y3hM

It's almost July and I just realized I completely forgot about my New Year's goals... sound familiar? 😅

This isn't your typical "perfectly curated plan with me" video. This is for the real ones - the ADHD entrepreneurs, the busy parents, the humans who make plans and then forget they exist until halfway through the year. If you've ever felt like you're failing at your goals or that traditional planning just doesn't work for your brain, this one's for you.

In this video, I'm doing a brutally honest mid-year review of my 2025 goals (spoiler: I'm nowhere near most of them and that's okay!). I'll walk you through my real process for:

Taking inventory of what's actually working vs. what's been half-assed

Identifying what still matters vs. what you've outgrown

Trimming the "shoulds" that aren't actually yours

Finding your ONE focus for the rest of the year

No shame, no guilt - just real talk about recalibrating and resetting with intention. Because sometimes "failing with intention" is better than mindlessly chasing goals that don't even fit your life anymore.

    TIMESTAMPS:

    0:00 - Why this isn't a perfect planning video

2:15 - My honest goal review (it's not pretty!)

5:30 - The inventory questions that change everything

8:45 - What still matters vs. what I've outgrown

12:20 - Trimming the "shoulds" (Marie Kondo style)

16:10 - Finding my ONE thing for the rest of 2025

  • ADHD + Midlife Reinvention : What No One Tells You About Starting Over
    Jun 13 2025

Are you craving a reset but terrified of burning it all down? Same. In this vulnerable (and slightly spicy) episode, I’m sharing what it really looks like to reinvent your life after 50—with ADHD in the mix.

We’ll talk messy action, nervous system regulation, the myth of clarity, and why you’re not broken (no matter how many times you’ve pivoted). If you’ve ever considered going back to school, starting a new business, or just ditching it all to become a Buddhist psychologist… this one’s for you.

    ✨ What we cover:

    • Why clarity comes after action (not before)

    • The myth of the “midlife crisis” and what to do instead

    • How ADHD changes the reinvention game

    • Structure, nervous system support, and sustainable self-trust

    • A vision for becoming your badass 70-year-old self

👋 If you’re new, I’m Caren Magill—certified ADHD life coach, productivity nerd, and recovering reinvention junkie.

💬 Let me know in the comments—are you reinventing your life right now? I’d love to hear your story.

In this episode, I’m talking to Jason Zook, co-creator of WAIM Unlimited, about how to pivot your business or life without burning it all down.

We cover why so many ADHD entrepreneurs feel the urge to quit, what it means to “own your weird,” and how learning to trust yourself can change everything.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you need to start over — this conversation will help you take a breath, zoom out, and find a more sustainable way forward.
