  • The Return of CKY with Jess Margera
    Nov 30 2025

After a seven-year studio hiatus, CKY is recording new music. The band released “Can’t Stop Running” on Oct. 10, and drummer Jess Margera promises more singles soon.

Although fans are just now hearing them, the new songs started in the wake of Covid. Founding guitarist, producer, and now vocalist Chad I Ginsburg has written a ton of new material that the band has taken into the studio.

Outside of music, Margera is known for his role in the CKY videos and helping launch what would become Jackass. Unlike his younger brother Bam, Jess’s skating wasn’t on the level to compete professionally. So, drums became his career.

On the day before Thanksgiving, Jordan Edwards talked to Jess Margera about the band’s resurgance, the CKY Crew’s early days, and the impact his family has made on pop culture.
