The prophetic isn't spooky or weird—it's a powerful tool God has given every believer to change their circumstances through faith-filled words. When we understand biblical prophecy as speaking by divine inspiration, we can transform our valleys of despair into places of resurrection power.
• Everyone can operate in the prophetic gift, not just those with the office of prophet
• Prophecy serves for edification (building), exhortation (invoking divine help), and comfort (connection)
• The valley (difficult places in life) is precisely where prophetic declarations have the most power
• Our prophetic authority isn't dependent on our perfection but on our position with God
• Words of faith can literally change circumstances when inspired by the Holy Spirit
• We must stop "cursing" our future by speaking negatively and instead declare God's perspective
• True prophecy requires prayer, faith, and being filled (not just indwelled) with the Holy Spirit
• Many believers have salvation but haven't experienced the empowering fullness of the Spirit
• The prophetic breakthrough happens when we stop waiting for someone else to speak and open our own mouths
