Isaiah

This week in Isaiah 26 we look at what it means to live a "flourishing life" in the middle of a fractured world. It’s not about positive thinking or "holding on for dear life" until the end; it’s about a roadmap available to us right now. Isaiah points us away from our striving and toward the "everlasting rock" (verse 4), a title that finds its ultimate fulfillment in Jesus Christ. Richard reminds us that the "perfect peace" promised in verse 3 is not found in changed circumstances, but in the finished work of Christ on the cross.
