Is Tarot Inherently Spiritual?

In our follow-up to the last episode, we're exploring tarot and spirituality. On the surface, the answer might seem like a "well, duh, of course tarot is spiritual." But there are a lot of non-spiritual ways to work with the deck...and are the cards themselves, without human interaction, spiritual? What does spiritual even mean?
