Introduction To Syphilis

This episode examines the sexually transmissible infection: syphilis. We will discuss how syphilis is transmitted from person to person and why screening for syphilis during pregnancy is so important to prevent congenital syphilis. This episode is part of a greater education package called "Antenatal Sexual health Kit". This fully-funded online education is a one-stop-shop of resources, tools, and up-to-date information to support antenatal clinicians in their critical role of risk assessing, screening, treating and follow up of syphilis during pregnancy.
