Episode #1 Introducing the Leaving Churchianity Podcast

Christianity has morphed and evolved over the last 2,000 years from a narrow path personal relationship with God to over 40,000 different denominations world wide. This podcast is designed to strip away all of the chaos and division and accumulated errors and get back to the simple truth. This is an encouraging and educational podcast for all those who wonder if the Bible really is true, if God is Real, what the Bible 'Really" says and those who want encouraging help along the road of life.

It’s Day 1 of listening in

I follow Luke on TikTok, ( I’m @Ann_jel_ika) I suddenly remembered this podcast. We gather in a small group of 5 sometimes 6 on sabbath that we came about through 119 Ministries, it has been great coming together in a small humble setting. The opening of this podcast says it all. Many of us are looking for more, something is missing. I myself have not felt whole in quite sometime. At 16 I renounced the Catholic Church 1 day before the day of confirmation, I walked out, I believe the word speak of zealous for God. That was me at 16. Since then I have been searching for truth. I’m 45 now, the truth was always been near me but because I did not seek The Almighty directly nor did I crack open the Bible the truth was not revealed to me until the condition of my heart was right. It’s the door where our Messiah knocks, it’s the one we close when we pray to our Heavenly Father who sees and hears all that is done in secret. Through prayer I speak directly to my Father in Heaven with such love & fear knowing that His Son is our Mediator. The Truth came to me after so many years, today it’s been almost 3 years since we’ve sat down and studied to show ourselves approved.. Now when I open His word, now I hear Him, as Messiah said My sheep know My voice. I have a desire to hear His word not a pastor with limited understanding and will form a 40 minute sermon and make it about prosperity and all is jolly. So this is what I am hoping for, something I can share with newbies who are seeking but not sure where to start. I have already shared this whole podcast. I pray over you Luke that you are blessed!
