Rachel interviews conservative attorney Jeffrey Moffatt and his wife Star about the lawfare he has experienced since 2014. Because they both ran for office as Republicans in California, the corrupt State Bar of Arizona came after him and disbarred him over a flirtatious exchange he had with a woman on Facebook (well-connected attorneys and judges who have actually engaged in sexual misconduct were only censured, put on probation, or suspended for 1-2 years). Then California prosecutors brought charges against him for merely inadvertently checking the wrong box on a federal form for his work representing disabled people trying to obtain benefits from the SSA, stating that he was an attorney (he'd been checking that box for years and didn't notice) - but you don't even NEED a law license to represent them! A quick question to AI reveals that inadvertent mistakes on federal forms rarely result in prosecution.
