Golf hall of famer Hale Irwin was a state champion in high school in Boulder, an NCAA champ at Colorado, and a 3x US Open winner (something only 6 men have done). He also has one of the best Ryder Cup records in US history (his teams went 5-0), and - oh by the way - he was a 2x All Big 8 defensive back in college. Great stories from a legend.
