As the world prepares for International Women’s Day 2026, VoiceAfrique Catholic presents a special reflection titled “Give to Gain.” In this inspiring conversation, host Sr. Helen Kasaka speaks with Annastacia Mumbua Musyimi, a Kenyan Catholic lay leader, development advocate, and Coordinator of the Social Welfare Unit of the Pan African Catholic Theology and Pastoral Network (PACTPAN).
Drawing from her experience in Church leadership, social welfare, and public service, Annastacia reflects on the profound role women play in shaping families, communities, and institutions through generosity, compassion, and service. The discussion explores how the spirit of giving, through time, care, wisdom, and leadership, becomes a powerful force for personal transformation and social progress across Africa.
This International Women’s Day special encourages communities to recognize and support the contributions of women while inspiring young girls and women to lead with courage, faith, and purpose.
The podcast also features a reflective musical moment with Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion, celebrating gratitude and the impact of love and support in our lives.
VoiceAfrique Catholic is a programme of the Pan African Catholic Theology and Pastoral Network (PACTPAN) dedicated to promoting faith, leadership, and service across Africa.
Listen, reflect, and celebrate the transformative power of women who give to uplift society.
