Episode 28: The Wild Alchemy of Being Human

What happens when we, creatures born of soil and starlight, remember our natural habitat? This episode is part story, part invocation—a reflection on a recent journey I took for my uncle’s celebration of life that unfolded into something deeper.

Hiking up Glen Falls, watching my daughter come alive among moss and stone, feeling the trees respond to my energy work, chasing fireflies by the creek, breathing in rain-kissed bergamot fields—it all became a vivid reminder that our truest alchemy happens in places untouched by concrete.

We’re energetic beings trying to adapt to lives inside boxes, forgetting the sacred exchange that happens when our bare feet meet the earth.

Tune in as I explore what it means to reconnect with the wilderness within by stepping into the wilderness without—how grief, wonder, scent, sound, and simple presence become gateways to our original design.

While we can adapt to living in what we have created and we can have fun with it, getting back to nature and hearing the heart of our natural habitat is unlike anything else.

Listen to your soul and maybe, just maybe, you’ll remember the forest that still lives in your bones.

I go into what its like being a mom on this alchemical journey.

I also talk a little but about my past, and what it was like realizing I wanted a different situation and life for myself and my daughter. I also talk about what its like raising and guiding an alchemist.

She has been my greatest teacher in this life. I am forever grateful she chose me to be her mom.

Over and over again I would choose her and our life together.

I am not perfect. I am human. I am working every day to be better than I was before. When I know better, I do better.

I know there will more episodes about this because its a huge topic for me and my unbecoming and becoming.
