  • Ep123 "Will AI cure loneliness?" with Paul Bloom
    Sep 29 2025

  • Ep122 "Why do we so rarely say what we mean?" (with Steven Pinker)

And what does any of this have to do with bullies, George Costanza, or cancel culture? Join this week with cognitive scientist Steven Pinker as we discuss his new book on common knowledge: “When Everyone Knows That Everyone Knows”.

After listening to the first episode, I am definitely following this podcast. Mr Eagleman is articulate and explains his reasoning well.
My only problem is that the emphasis on words in his narration is somewhat sing-song but that is minor. He has this excited tone of voice which is contagious; I became curious about what he was curious about and I enjoyed that.
I'm looking forward to listening to more. And I am going to shake up my routines as he suggested at the end.

Fascinating and a good use of my time
