There seems to be a commonly held belief that the San Francisco Giants' offense has been bad so far in 2024. But is it really true? The Giants boast an above-average wRC+, and they're above average in batting average and on-base percentage. Their power has been subpar, and their hitting with runners in "scoring position" has been bottom five in the league, but numbers like wRC+ are more indicative of talent and predictive of future performance. The Giants are a tick below average in runs scored per game. At worst, they're mediocre, not bad.
