God saw that it was not good for man to be alone, so He created woman as a companion and helper. In their union, man and woman become “one flesh,” reflecting God’s design for marriage as a covenantal relationship. It is only through living according to God’s design for marriage that mankind can find genuine, lasting satisfaction.
