We’re excited to join you in the afternoons now. I’m producer Liz Gill with Mississippi Public Broadcasting’s Think Radio. Attorney, Adam Kilgore, former General Council with The Mississippi Bar is our host. We’d like to introduce our afternoon listeners to our show. We take calls on our weekly topic. This week: we’re going to learn about Ethics from both the lawyer and the client’s point of view. Our guest today is attorney Francis Springer.
It’s a new year. New things are happening at MPB and at our Mississippi Capitol. MPB’s weekly show @Issue has started back up. That’s heard on Mondays at 5pm. Republican Rebekah Staples and Democrat Brandon Jones join host Wilson Stribling to discuss happenings at the state Capitol. If you miss the live show, find the podcast or listen at MPBonline.org

There are always elections coming. But January 9th, 2026 is important date. Absentee ballot applications are available in the Circuit Clerk's Office for the March 10, 2026, Primary Elections. That is for one of our Senate seats – both parties. District 1 – no republican primary but one for the Democratic Party. District 2 – both parties. District 3 neither party. District 4, both parties.
MPB has local call in shows where you can ask an expert about money, health, gardening, and more. We’re the legal show!
You can listen LIVE to us from the MPB Public Media app or from MPBonline.org/radio
Thursdays, following our over-the-air broadcast, you can hear Next Stop Mississippi on MPB Think Radio at 4pm Central.
