"I'll take a whack at it!" - Childhood Films (Part 1)

This week on Growing Up Up North, we’re taking a trip down memory lane as we chat all about the movies we grew up watching. From absolute childhood classics like Matilda, The Grinch, The Little Mermaid, and The Lion King, to the more niche gems like Ferngully that totally shaped our imaginations — it’s a full-on nostalgia fest.

There was so much to talk about, we’ve had to split the episode into two parts! This is Part 1, focused on the magical films from our younger years that we watched on repeat (even when the VHS was a bit dodgy). Part 2 is coming next week and will be all about those iconic teenage movies that got us through the awkward years.
