ICE Prosecutor with Racist X Account Back on the Job

Over a year ago, a prosecutor for ICE in immigration court was exposed by journalists for having a racially charged X account. The exposé seemed to spark an investigation by the Department of Homeland Security but now he is back on the job and the racist X account is still active.

Steven Monacelli is the journalist who broke this story. He is an award winning investigative journalist focusing on extremism, disinformation, social movements and the influence of dark money in politics. His work has appeared in countless publications such as Rolling Stone and The Daily Beast. He's currently a special investigative correspondent for The Texas Observer.
