In Acts 28:23-31, Paul had a second meeting with the Jews in Rome. He spent all day expounding and testifying to them about the Kingdom of God and Jesus from the Law and Prophets. There was a mixed response to Paul’s teaching from the audience. Paul then quoted Isaiah 6:9-10 to highlight that salvation had been sent to the Gentiles because they listen. At the end of Acts, Luke tells us that Paul shared the gospel with boldness and without hindrance. What does this have to do with us today? How does it tie to our vision to “Be the Church”?

This week's sermon is by Irene Wong. Irene has extensive experience studying the Bible and leading small groups. She is married to Anlian, one of our Elders. Irene was born in a secular family. From a young age, God has sent many people into her life to offer guidance, support and encouragement during challenging times. Her spiritual journey isn’t just a story, but a testament to the power of God. Irene believes that a personal connection with Jesus was the key for her while going through grief and transitions in her past. She experienced God’s love and grace and began to see and trust that God always works all things for good.
