How Some Men Are Challenging the Toxicity of the Scary & Expanding Manosphere

The manosphere: promoting violence and the suppression of women. Why? We are told that men are in crisis, and they are, but is it right to blame the empowerment of women for their alienation and despair? Would it be wiser to look to the economic system, wealth inequality, and a lack of hope for a better life for us all? Shouldn’t we be challenging the mistaken adherence to traditional gender roles, starting with the belief that men SHOULD be dominant and that guys are losers if they’re not? Shouldn’t we expose the denial that our world is still dominated by male power and images of it? Building the World We Want applauds men of all ages who are fighting their despair and conditioning. We applaud those who have the courage to co-create a new, more supportive society for everyone and the guts to transform their own old ways of relating to women and one another. In a world of rising misogyny, some are building the world we want. We welcome James Maynard and Todd Benton to talk about what they are doing in their own lives and in their own homes.
