How Long, O Lord? (Habakkuk 1:1–4)

Habakkuk cries out to the Lord as violence, corruption, and injustice spread unchecked among God’s people. Troubled by God’s apparent silence, the prophet asks how long he must wait for justice to come. This opening lament gives voice to faithful suffering and shows how honest prayer belongs within a life of trust, even when God’s ways are not yet clear.
