I was facing the painful, progressive degeneration of knee cartilage (osteoarthritis). Standard orthopedic treatments offered only temporary relief. I refused to accept that and developed a multi-faceted holistic approach. Within three months, I achieved total healing.
STAND NEVER AGAIN WITH STRAIGHT KNEES! The knee joint should be always loose because you block the energy, and you put your back muscles under unnecessary tensions. Stand so, that your knee joints are above your feet.
The 4-Pillar Protocol That Worked for Me:
Pillar 1: High-Repetition, Low-Impact Movement (The Foundation)
Cycling: Based on the research of Prof. Bellemans (Orthopedic Surgeon for the Belgian Olympic Team), I committed to:
What: 10-15 minutes on a stationary bike.
How: Low resistance, high repetition.
When: Twice daily, with at least a 10-hour break between sessions to allow for cartilage recovery and rebuilding.
Supported Squats:
Form: Half-squats only, never exceeding a 90-degree angle to protect the knee.
Technique: Vary toe position (pointing in and out) to strengthen all the supporting muscles around the knee joint.
Rule: Perform slowly and never through pain.
Pillar 2: Targeted Supplementation (The Building Blocks)
Based on research, I took supplements to provide the raw materials for repair:
Collagen: The fundamental building block for connective tissue repair.
Glucosamine: Supports joint lubrication and cartilage health.
MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane): Provides sulfur, crucial for ligament elasticity.
Hyaluronic Acid: Supports the synovial fluid that cushions the joint.
